Internet cheers on man who won with $1 on Jeopardy!

WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Twitter exploded after a man won Jeopardy! with $1.
Manny Abell went into the final round with $1,000 in his pot, while his competitors had $12,300 each.
All three were stumped by the clue, “It’s the only country that borders the Caspian Sea and the Persian Gulf.”
Although all three contestants got the answer wrong, Abell won with a dollar after betting $999 instead of his entire pot.

Only one other person besides Abell has won Jeopardy! with $1.
In 1993, Air Force Lieutenant Colonel Darryl Scott won the game by answering the final question wrong along with his other two competitors.
Although both contestants won by a single dollar, a win is a win.
