WASHINGTON (ABC7) — LEGO has teamed up with science writer Maia Weinstock to create the new Women of NASA LEGO sets.
LEGO is calling the sets #LEGOWomenOfNASA, which brings the heroic women of NASA to life.
These sets are dedicated to programmer Margaret Hamilton, astronomer Nancy G. Roman, and U.S astronauts Mae Jemison and Sally Ride.
The 231 piece set is said to be available November 1st, according to LEGO’s Instagram announcement.
LEGO has already found success from LEGO’s NASA Apollo Saturn V.
The Apollo LEGO set has over 1,900 pieces, and comes with parts to assemble the lunar lander and the lunar orbiter.
While the Apollo set is already sold out on the LEGO website, you can purchase the Apollo on Amazon while supplies last.
