Life-size igloo ‘Ice Lounge’ coming to City Center D.C. in December
WASHINGTON (ABC7) — Have you ever wanted to relax in an igloo?
Well now you can!
A life-size igloo made of 36,000 pounds of ice will be on display in The Park at CityCenterDC in December.
“Styled with plush interiors by Joseph Ireland of JD Ireland Interior Architecture + Design, this one-of-a-kind, frozen structure will allow Washingtonians to fulfill their subzero dreams for a weekend,” according to CityCenter.
Posting a picture of the igloo on Instagram using the #CCDCHolidays hashtag could land you a chance at winning a $350 gift card to CityCenterDC stores.
The Ice Lounge opens on December 1 at 4 p.m.
Admission is free, and the igloo will be open to the public December 2 and 3 from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.
